Hill End is an old gold mining town with heaps of history and historic sights to see as you walk through the
town.
70km from Mudgee along a nice country road.
This is a popular stop over with bike groups so booking a bed is a must if you want to stay the night.
You can also book a room at the Hill End Lodge.
Going on last year, the ride in is fantastic from all sides.

Hey, Growly & A2Z are you guys still interested in the ride to Hill End RTE?
Distance from fav bakery near the big ram Goulburn to Hill End is 265ks, from my place to Goulburn is 108ks . . Total to Hill End for me is approx 375ks. Approx 4 hrs from home, approx 3 hours from Bakery. We would need to leave bakery by around 9 or shortly thereafter.
A2Z can you make the bakery for a 9ish departure? Presuming you are still going and want to ride with us?
Growly are you still in or no?
Do we Saturday overnight in Hill End or Mudgee? Or even Bathurst?

Yeh, i am going. I have booked a room at the royal hotel Hillend for the night.
I will have 1 or 2 others coming with me.
Yeh , can meet at goulburn. Can aim for 8.30 arrival.

I am planning on getting to trappers Cafe (big merino) gouldurn 8.30am , refuel. Looking to leave 9am and head up to bathurst through Taralga.

Hi all great turn out for hill end RTE to day had 8 ozstoc members turn up, I put this ride on Mudgee regional road riders post and there were 13 bikes left Mudgee this morning for a total of 21 bikes hope to see you in feb at grey gums Rte Cheers JOSO. Ps thanks to PC came from Warwick for this RTE big effort Pete thanks mate 👏👏

Hi guys back home now1600k’s 2 nights in Mudgee with Joso (bike-had sleepovers around the corner at Wilko’s place ) had a overnight with St2up & Pockey on the way home
It was a great to catch up at Hill End
