This month's weekday RTE is to the terribly located Mt Glorious Cafe 
Bad roads and horrible scenery is the order of the day here folks.
Arrive anytime from 11am till noon for brunch,lunch,coffee or cake.

But if there is good company and good food it mite be worth the punishment to attend

Uncannily bad time.  I have a fixed appointment every Tuesday 11:30 to 12:00.  Might make it by 1:00, but everyone will have gone by then.     (Although 28/06 works, as my appointment is school-related, and they're on holidays.)

Monday is no better.  Wednesday at Amamoor worked for me.  C'est la vie.  I'll get to another one before long.

Hey all as a newbie im still learning how ozstoc works wont be able to make to this one but very keen to make it to a ride soon. Are there many Saturday rides because i work every sunday and get friday and Saturday off. Also can you organize your own ride with a group somehow. Thanks looking forward to riding with you all soon.

There are monthly rides we call them RTE which stands for Ride To Eat, and then there's a week day ride for those who either work shift work or on a roster that may include weekends, or those who are retired and have nothing else to do and then those who are just gluttons who can't stay off their ST's.

You can choose any ride you want to join or none at all if you like. Usually you RSVP via the line the ride has been post on and this is really only for table booking by the organisers. You can imagine what it's like if 20 people descended on a cafe without notice.

Also, outside of this you can organise your own RTE if you like, just give a bit of notice...

So basically the rules are there are no rules ... You participate as much or as little as you like...

Yep- any Wednesday, Thursday or Friday is fine.  Might not suit someone else.

The Boorumba (?) cafe on Mt Nebo is another good one on good roads.  Not quite as much parking, but a lot fewer bikes than Mt Glorious.
There's also a good cafe further up the road from Maiala on Glorious which has adequate parking.
