Up early this morning for a ride to Snowtown where I might be working for Viterra this year. They called it a group interview but it was more like a get to know them sort of thing.
Left home at 7am for 9am appointment which was 140 km away. Wet weather gear on as it looked like rain and though not heavy when it started but annoying and after the first 20 km or so it was gone. Lots of rain around and just lucky the roads kept me out of it except for a sprinkle or two. Arrived Snowtown at 8:45 am.
Put my hand up to do one of the 4 or 5 weighbridges in the area; though know I've done Kimba so only refresher on the system and I'll be ok; if they want me that is. Won't know until I get the email for the online induction and no medical this year as I had one last year.
Left the meeting at 10am and made tracks for the roadhouse; pasty and sausage roll for breakfast and then off to Clare for a different way home. Stopped off at Woolworths for a handful of groceries. Saw some prawns on special which pleased the girls so a kilo of them @ $16 but reduced to $12 when I got them. 2 x 10 can packs of Kirks ginger beer (one for me and one for Tammie) on special @ $5.80 each or equal to two for one compared to our local supermarket.
Arrived home at 1:10 pm after doing 304 km total.
