Border Run 2021
« on: March 07, 2021, 05:32:11 PM »
At this morning's RTE past and future Border Runs were on the agenda.
It reminded me I hadn't booked accommodation for this years BR.
That is now fixed, Border Village booked Friday 6th and Saturday 7th August.
Accommodation at Norseman for Thursday 5th and Sunday 8th will be done closer to the ride.

I'd like to attend but a change in employment may rule me out.  I'll look at putting in paperwork next week.

Rob are you still going?

Mitch, LindsayGT, Superfrog and myself will overnight Norseman Thursday, Eucla Friday and Saturday nights and then Norseman again on Sunday night on the way home.

If any one is planning on doing the BR from the eastern side pm me and we will at least wave to you at across the border.

I have to withdraw from the BR, SA have refused me an entry permit, seems a 3,000+ k ride to partake in a Big Sister canned pudding is not regarded as essential travel by SA authorities!

... to partake in a Big Sister canned pudding is not regarded as essential travel by SA authorities!

I think anyone who did partake in the Puddin' may suffer an illness worse than COVID and then also need to partake in some essential travel to the nearest ICU.
