Quadlock for St1100 question...
« on: January 11, 2022, 08:15:13 PM »
Having seen the quadlock in operation recently, I've decided to get one. I'm assuming the handlebar mount is the best option, although as I now have risers and no plastic handlebar covers, I could maybe use the head stem, though the bars are directly above it...
Anyone have any photos of quadlock mounted on an St1100 or comments/advice?
Cheers
Chris

I was lucky enough to get a package deal on a bunch of new quadlock bits recently.
One of the items was the vibration damper...does anyone use them? They don't list the st1000 as needing them as, of course, our bikes are so smooth and a Honda so no vibration expected eh!
I also received an iPhone 11 pro max case...I'll advertise it on our site...
Cheers

It's a rubbish photo, but my QuadLock is fitted to the lid of the right side glovebox on my Beemer.  It's a custom adaptor that I made that bolts through the glovebox lid.   I don't use the phone while on the move, but it's convenient to grab it for a quick photo without getting off the bike.

Here's the photos of the quadlock install with the steering tube cap also installed.
