ST1300 Tearing Up Highway 28

Brown Trouser Moment...

Came across this "old" video today and thought I'd share it...

It's surprising how good a "sports" bike the ST can be!

The guy they screamed past at the 13:00 mark would have been me!    I'm obviously getting too old - using a single-lane country road of that quality as a racetrack doesn't appeal to me one bit.  Neither does the bit about using tyhe wrong side of the road to take a corner.   There's just no margin for error.

I'm impressed that the ST gave a really good account of itself though.  A casual observer would never imagine it it would be up for that sort of behaviour.

Grumpy old man.   :angry-old-man-smiley-emoticon
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.

It looks like it would be a great road to ride... but at a much slower speed :thumb
That being said this video does remind me of just how sporty the ST is when it's up above 5000 rpm
