Ok, it is now a month away so time to check who might be going, and whether we can organise to meet up somewhere if possible. I will be staying in Thredbo just down from the Village square.  Hopefully I will be doing an extended ride to Thredbo for maybe 2 days, most likely through the Victorian High country.

hi folks,

A relatively new member but a long time rider (about 50 years!!).  A couple of mates and I will be heading to the Snowy Ride and hopefully meet up with some of the club members - we are staying at the Station Resort at Jindabyne - because it has a bar and bistro, very important -  on site plus pretty reasonable accommodation.

Hope to see some of you in the Snowy area 2nd 3rd & 4th November.

I am just now thinking about the ride for a few days before the Snowy Ride, so will post up a plan which will be for the Victorian High Country and the coast around Gippsland.

Nearly time to go     

I am off tomorrow (Tuesday 30 October)  I am taking a leisurely ride to Thredo for Thu/Fri?Sat nights.   Cooma, back way to Bombala, Delegate, Bonang Highway, lunch on the water at lakes Entrance (fish and chips of course) the B500 through to bright then twisty road from there to the Keiwa Highway, then overnight in Dederang (pub is the only place there, so have to stay there!).  Staying Wednesday night at Tintaldra pub (same excuse) so will just wander around a few roads I don't get to travel on much.  From Tintaldra towards Tumburumba, Elliots Way then the back way into Thredbo.

Just have to fill in the day with riding, and after contemplating life into the evening.....I will try and remember to stop and take photos...

It is good to be out and about on the bike again.

I will be taking advantage of the Honda test rides, so may try a 2012 GoldWing, CrossTourer, ST13 (if they still make those old things!) and if I feel brave a Fireblade.

I will see a few of you on 11 November at Grey Gums cafe.
