Gregory mentioned the 'hot bum' from the seat... Pity you couldn't have spent a little more time up the way and get John moorhouse to redo the OEM seat from all reports it makes a massive difference to the ride comfort.
I jus wanna ride my bike

Good to see you made it back safely.

I did tell you that I didn't like the lambswool seat covers and thus, never fitted them. I've never experienced "hot bum" on the ST but I think that's because I ride on my toes with my hips tilted forward and my spine straight, rather than on my butt, with my spine bent (harley style) like some of you gluttons for punishment!  :p

I've never had a problem with the seat, even riding to Tasmania and back...  I sure had tired knees, but never a sore butt :)

Thanks Skip.   :thumbs  After removing the lambswool cover the heat problem was solved.

However I found that I was continually moving to get comfortable. I am of average height but found that the seat height was already at the highest yet I would have set it higher if possible.

I cannot tell whether my saddle-soreness was all my fault or the seat's. the padding is not very thick tho and this no doubt contributes. Perhaps when my arse hardens up tho I might stop whinging.  :butt  :spank  :rofl

Hi Gregory, it sounds like our ST's are very similar; color, year, farkles (well some).

I'm in Orange on the way to Dubbo, so you're welcome to drop in on your way and say gday if I'm around on the day,
