Got home from my second Christmas party.
I'll add my thanks to Graham and Dave for their excellent dedication to the STOC cause, organising tables and chairs, BBQ, food, venue etc.
As soon as my pix come back from Kodak I'll put a few up, but the key ones are already here.

And what a great banner we now have for our events.  I hear Tipsy is building a flagpole for the back of his bike so we can sally forth behind our standard-bearer.

I had to leave just as a major cricket match was starting up, but trust everyone got home OK.

Especially Tony (youngone) who was feeling very unwell from the time he arrived.  He only sipped a Coke and took it very easy in a chair.  Let us know how you got on Tony.

I counted 11 new caps in that pic.  Queensland still setting records for the rest to envy.   :p
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Get yourself along to a doctor, Tony.  Unless it was food poisoning (from breakfast!) it could be serious.

Tony I can tell you it was not food poisoning, as nicely said I have lost about 3kg myself, it has not been the most fun afternoon/night, I have a pillow and a blanket and I am on the floor next to the ahhhh two most important rooms in the house....

If it's not food poisoning then it could be gastro. Both are similar and often get confused with each other.

Glad to hear you guys are both feeling a lot better. Not much fun having a tummy bug like that.

I'm glad to see everyone had a pretty good time. The pics are great and we're sorry we had to cancel at the last moment.

Marissa and I wish everyone a happy and safe festive season ahead, and hope we can all look forward to many more enjoyable days of riding next year  :thumbs

well! we were able to get there and had an absolute ball :hatwave . as we stealthfully rode around the park (apparently not stealthfully enough) to see 4 or 5 bikes and 7 or so grey and orange ozstoc shirts. food was good and plentiful, conversations, and of course inspection of rides and farkles. so glad we went. got some pics
