Thanks goes to Whizz as the route planner for this RTE. Great day out mate. Great to meet a few new faces. No 'ring-ins' here, just friends we haven't yet met.
It did get a tad warm and I have a pretty sunburnt face from having the visor up most of the day. I made it a bit over 450k for the day. Can we go again tomorrow?  :grin
Thanks all.

Getting wind in my hair while I still have some.

Sorry to disappoint- I did write somewhere that I had the opportunity to take people up gliding today, and I don't get very many invitations like that.  Like a few other wannabees, I'll get along to an RTE one day.  I suspect the enthusiasm for rides in Qld might subside on these summer days-  I see Ipswich is looking at 36o tomorrow.  I know the legs were feeling toasty on the 1300 at the lights today.   :H
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
