Breaking News...Ozstoc Shirt World Record....
« on: November 19, 2011, 05:46:46 PM »
As you all know, the West Aussies hold the current world record for the most number of people wearing OzSTOC shirts photographed at a RTE.

Well.........

After the mighty Queenslanders' November RTE where there were 11 bikes, 5 of which had pillions, I can tell you.................

The record (of 8 ) that the Sandgropers held.......................

...........Still stands as we only mustered 7 shirts!  Nice effort just the same folks.

There has been a lot of talk about special shirts for our beloved female members of late, and we will be looking into this, so anything could happen.

Pics to follow from heaps of peeps as just about everyone had a camera today.

More to follow.

Cheers, Diesel

It was an excellent day! Great new faces, lunch was very nice, even discovered how fast rabbits can run up a highway.

Home safe, was at cooyar getting fuel listening to 5 HD riders discussing how good it was to get nearly 300km to a tank of fuel!
Mentally laughed a lot

Yep- good day for me too- 501 km, home 5:15.  The Bundy boys and girls will have clocked up a lot more than that by the time they get home.  Great to see so many of them make the effort and hope to see them on another ride.  I was one without a camera, so eagerly awaiting the pix.
Maybe we holds the record for the most STs on an OzSTOC ride?

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Damn good ride lots of new people and a very nice lunch at the Kingaroy  RSL
I managed a mixed grill an Veg, Missed out on the croc mornay  pies at Goomeri as they were closed(bugger) but got to do just over 500 clicks and 420 to a tank full
Came back to Vic Point via Goomeri Kilkevi & gympie and down the sleeping highway, throttle lock on and sit back and let the country roll on by.
Home at 5 past 6pm had coffee and shower and wanted to do it all over again right then but sat down in the recliner and it took about 5 mins to start checking out the inside of my eyelids, just to damned relaxed and happy i guess

I am lost and haves gone to find myself
Now If I get back before I return
