Laidley
« on: January 30, 2013, 11:11:04 AM »
For those of you who came on the last run to Grantham, we went through a little township called Laidley on the way, very pretty little place with a 40km/hr speed limit up through the main street. Below is a picture taken on Monday of that main street, the one we all rode up just a short while ago. If we were riding there when this picture was taken the water would have been been up to our shoulders!

It is Crazy there, the Mud Army is in doing clean up, we just donated a heap of PPE to the volunteer clean up crews (PVC gloves, safety glasses, disposable overalls, masks) as they where using kitchen gloves, and not much else!

no not really guys, simple theory, it is the right thing to do, we don't make a big fuss about it or anything, just making sure people are looked after....

Looks like we are going to be regular visitors to the Lockyer Valley for some time to come. My heart goes out to them.
