Seat or suspension modifications
« on: June 05, 2013, 09:12:08 PM »
I am very new to ST ownership and I LOVE it. I would however feel much more comfortable if I could achieve a lower ride height by either lowering the seat height or by modifying the suspension or by a combination of both. I would very much appreciate any tips or advice in this regard. My reason for considering these moficications is to let me get my feet more firmly on the ground (something to do with being related to a duck I believe).
Ive done very little riding thus far but have installed the Helibar handle bar risers and am very pleased with the result :slvr13

Lowering suspensiom not such a good idea, it will mess up the handling of the bike. Modding the seat is pretty easy, your local motor trimmer should be able to rework the seat for a perfect fit. Also putting the seat on its lowest setting can help, can take a bit of effort tho I believe.
