Recon the new bridge is near Mundubbera.

Right part of Queensland, wrong town.

Got lost back there somewhere between the Sydney Harbour Bridge, somewhere near Mundubbera and some washed away bridges.......  Can someone can get us back on track with some localities?

While we are waiting, here is a pic of one of my favourite Bridges:

If that's on track I'm certainly lost in here.    :hijacked

To resolve the bridge question, here's my next clue:  Burnett River.

Bridges is the thread topic.  So (IMHO), it wasn't too far of topic.

I suppose this raises a few questions, ie:
Who is allowed to hijack a thread?
When is hijacking acceptable?
Are these questions another hijack?

To resolve the bridge question, here's my next clue:  Burnett River.

More info required for me.

No one and anyone.

Never or sometimes.

Victoria, but not on the River Murray.  It's on a popular bike run, but photographed from an unusual angle.

Got it!   We've stopped at the park below the bridge for lunch on a number of occasions.

Looks like they had to add some scaffolding to reinforce it.

Let us know if it turns up.

.... the increase in rail traffic ... heavier railway rolling stock it was deemed necessary to strengthen the structure.  In 1933-34 the fabricated steel columns were added.

Another bridge, similar style, construction and reinforcing as the Taradale bridge:

From Bing maps photos.

I've still got a few beers left, I'll keep one for the person that correctly nominates the location.
