As for wanting one- why go 8 cylinders when the Wing's flat 6 purred like a kitten and did the wheel stands on demand?

Because size is important, apparently... :popcorn

because of her looks, scares the shit out of some motorists when she's spotted in their rear vision mirror)[/i]

I had an XS 1100 years ago that did that. Big, white, La Parissean touring fairing and head light on, not helped by a black Brando jacket and silver open-face helmet. Always got a clear run down the Mt Barker Rd on that one.

Couldn't work out why my playlists kept repeating the same selected songs.

Pulled up the files on my laptop to find the majority of songs I'd added in recent times were MP4 tracks & only the MP3 tracks were playing.

Then came the tedious effort of converting all the MP4s to MP3.

Hi Shillas, if you ever need to convert music to MP3s I can recommend this free program: https://www.mediahuman.com/audio-converter/
I've used it for years, mainly converting flac files to MP3 but it converts a wide variety of files.
It will convert a full (music) album of flac files to MP3s in a matter of seconds...
Oh, and it's very easy to use too...  :thumbs

I do hope I can find a good home for "GhoST"   (Quiet, sneaks up, and because of her looks, scares the shit out of some motorists when she's spotted in their rear vision mirror)

I can most definitely attest to that - many a time when riding with Pete I did the double take and check my speed - or riding behind Pete and having to put up with worried motorists in front dropping their speed (which made it easier to pass I suppose).

Having ridden Pete's bike and seen the care and attention he has put into maintaining it, I know the person who purchases it will have no regrets, other than not getting their hands on it earlier.

I'm quietly confident we'll see Pete back on two wheels in the future ("I plan on getting something quite a bit lighter for short trips"), provided his back continues to improve. In my case the drop from 330kg to 196kg has been noticeable, although not quite as noticeable as the drop in horse power from 115 to 39. Still good fun though.
