Event Information:

The Pitstop Cafe on Mt Mee is owned by former motorcycle speedway racer John Alexander and wife Kim, and is managed by motorcycle enthusiast Michelle Sadlier.
The cafe is situated on one of the Brisbane hinterland’s most famous motorcycle roads, the Mount Mee Road which snakes up and over the range.

It is poised on the edge of a cliff looking south across Mt Pleasant Valley to Brisbane and on a clear day you can see all the way to the sand dunes of Moreton and North Stradbroke islands.
Inside there are motorcycle races on the TV and motorcycle and car racing paraphernalia everywhere collected over the years by John.

I have had a shift change this week after 14 weeks of doing monday to friday that now sees me working this weekend with wed 4th & thurs 5th off.
I'm hoping this is just a blip and not a regular thing that will affect my attendance to this RTE.On the positive side,mid week breakfast or lunch on Glorious or Mee will be be quiet without the weekend crowds and boy racers.

Due to the lead up to black friday and xmas, it seems that i'll be working weekends until festivus  :Christmas_smilie1:

So everyone stop buying fridges washers and tv's so i can get my weekends back  :OldMan

Just got home after a quick trip to The Gantry.  Thanks again for organising a great catch-up at a great venue.

We got home at 1:00 pm.

I had to clean up the youngest, and her child seat, as a big milkshake, chippies and a little belly don't mix with the Mt Mee road. :fp

Great to see so many people turn up to such a lovely destination.

While it was 34 degrees down in the valley, we were all having a pleasant lunch up on Mt Mee.

A good turn-out of OzStocers, including those amazing Toowoomba and Warwick riders who regularly come all the way to the Big Smoke for our RTEs.

And how about the two newest members, Gadget's lovely grandies?  It will be a long wait until they're 8 years old and riding pillion.

Great to have Johnny along, and hints that he might be moving to Queensland like half the Mexicans seem to be doing these days.

Thanks to Gadget, Shiney and Carrol for getting us all out on the bikes for a nice catch-up with fellow ST addicts.
