Something that members might be interested in for a future overnighter.
On the last friday night of every month there is a music jam on at the Kenilworth Hotel (QLD). Musicians and singers from around the sunshine coast go meet up there and have a jam from around 7pm til midnight.
The Kenilworth Hotel has some old but neat and clean rooms with single beds, or doubles. There is plenty of parking space out back as well as a large double-garage for o'night bike security. The Jam is held in the back of the pub (raised wooden floor area, same floor level as the pub) and is a covered area. There are nice meals available at the pub too.
Of course, since it is in Kenilworth, if you get there early enough you can stop at the twisties and have lunch at the Bellbird Creek bikers cafe, or ride the Mapleton to Maleny scenic road visiting the tourist shops along the way. The next morning you could ride to a place called Clearwater Creek (I think) where there is an eco style camp and accommodation place that often has markets and drop in musicians. They also have nice food and good coffee. Well worth the visit and a very nice place just out of the way.
I head there every Kenilworth Jam and stay the night. The hotel has the neat rooms, but you can also set up camp at the showgrounds (within walking distance to the hotel) cheaply.
Well worth the trip and easy access for a lot of people from Northen NSW to Bundy!

PS The jam is free, and has some really good musicians and singers. They play music that you can listen to (no heavy metal or rap), some country style music, and some older songs.
