2012 Tas Farride #9 at Tullah Lakeside Chalet   11 Feb 2012
1601 km for the Friday and Saturday
Eastcoast and North on Friday

Maria Island from Orford

Bicheno

Pyengana
Saturdays Ride up the Westcoast and home over Cradle Mountain and Lake Highway

Heading towards Gretna

Last year’s Farride overnighter at Derwent Bridge

The 99 bends or at least those you can see, the ones you can’t see are better.

Cradle Mountain Road, beautiful piece of road.

Central  Plateau on the A5.  About as high as you can get in Tassie.

Northern end of the Great Lake just before you hit gravel.

Lake Highway heading towards Bothwell

2 a.m. Sunday morning.  Pretty slack really

Thats usually the problem.  This time the weather was good (mostly) and I made a point and planned to stop for photos.  Most of us like to see photos of places and roads, gives us an idea of what other guys are enjoying.

Nice shots Carsten :thumbsup.............but don't show too many more  :-((( or we'll have an influx of riders heading in our direction, and we don't want our roads becoming congested.........do we mate!! :cuss
There are many paths to the top of the mountain.....but we all need to find our own way!

Geez Carsten (and Laura) - FAB pics!

I think one of the games we can play at the National Tassie OzSTOC meet can be "Find a crappy road in Tassie!"  Looks like there are none!

Looks like a great turnout there for FR#9, and certainly the locations were second to none.
