You could’ve told me the “preliminary stuff” was a half days work.  Re. the LHS headlight bulb, just take off the LHS fairing.  Just consider it “preliminary stuff”.

Stop whinging.  Here's how you change a low beam light bulb on a Beemer.    Bloody German engineering.......   :well  Note that the entire headlight unit has been removed.

Wow, Pete that is crazy :o

I can change the High Beam globes by removing the speakers and covers to get access to the back of the light unit, but the Low Beam is burried, with no finger room to work with.    I had to take out the entire headlight unit to fit a set of LED headlight globes.
