Gloucester on the Thunderbolts Way is a hub for some sensational day riding north from Sydney and south from the Mid-North coast and the New England tablelands. Roadies cafe has a display of old motorcycles and mouth watering gourmet food and coffee, come and experience the region for yourself.

He had volumes of smoke pouring from one switch block, which left him with no headlights, and it was at Boonah QLD where we had a chance encounter with an auto electrician who fixed it after finding a fault on a circut board somehwere on the bike. It cost us a coffee and $20 for the good fellow.

I'm happy to have a late start and bumble along, get to Gloucester early to see the sights, and then have lunch with some mates. I'm in no rush...... If you were thinking of meeting me at Singleton in the morning, that would be fine.

Rough calc says Gloucester roughly 1.50hrs away or 130kms from Singleton.
That should have me leaving Menai at roughly 6.30 and we could meet by 7.30 at the McDonalds at Bligh Park, Cnr of the Northern Rd and Richmond Rd.

I was planning to return after the RTE to hook up the coffin and head off on an adventure, but may stay O/N with A2Z Allen if he joins us.
STeveo I'm not sure as yet where we will meet Pete in Singleton. Hopefully contact will be made with Pete before Friday.

Pete - Word of advice - Try to source accommodation well away from Singleton's Main drag on the New England Highway :H You will not get any sleep otherwise :cuss :thumb

We had a great ride as part of Stinky Petes lap of Aust. It was a pleasure to lead the pack on a leisurely lumpy trip from Singleton to Gloucester. Sorry guys but the scenery worth every jolt.. :grin leading Ruben and Allen along the Putty in the crisp morning air was also a sensible paced ride, one which Pete enjoyed the day before
Peter PC and Tony Sicman also STeveo it was good to catch up again.
Pete I hope to attend other RTE's in your honour on your lap :thumb
