Been there every year since it started and it will be no different this year. Oh, on second thoughts, yes it will, this year I'll be on an ST1300 and not an FJR.  :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup Wish I could win one of the prizes, expectations are always so high every year but always come away empty handed. :'( :'( :'(

Maybe we could meet up before heading out on the Saturday.
As we have friends in Canberra will probably be staying with them so no accomodation needed for us.
cheers

Your missing the best part of the weekend, Thredbo Village has a great atmosphere. We actually make a 3 day weekend out of it, arrive Friday and leave Monday.

I will be there with JWM and other mates. As John has said we stay in Thredbo, it is a really great atmosphere. We ride down Friday and return Monday morning, making it a nice long weekend ride. We have been there every year and always enjoy the company, riding, food and laughter...oh almost forgot and the cold ones we sink. I am sure you will really enjoy it. If you would like to link up somewhere over the weekend, let me know and we will arrange something.

I will be missing this year, but passing through the area both going to and from Mallacoota on the Saturday.  May see some on the road, as I may come back up the coast.  Look for a white ST1100 covered in bugs - if the blue lights come on then it ain't me  :crackup

I'll be there, but not sure if I'll be on my ST or my Yamaha MT-01. I'll keep my eye out for the shirts and/or ST's around.

Well, that's one less on the bucket list. What a fantastic weekend. Got back from the Snowy Ride on Sunday night and can't wait to do it again.  The venue, the bikes, the atmosphere, the rides and the comraderrie among the bikers was just simply amazing.  Even got to meet a couple of OzSTOC members. Rally from Sutherland, and Gary and his wife from Victoria.  AND...I got to spread the news about OzSTOC by handing out several OzSTOC cards to ST riders! I'm all out of cards now so I'll have to pinch more out of Saaz at Robertson RTE.   :runyay

G'day OzSTOC riders/members,
Glad to say that I survived yet another Snowy Ride and sad also to report the deaths of three fellow riders (hopefully not from our Club but only limited details on the website) during this magic weekend of motorcycling.  A sad weekend for motorcycling overall.  RIP.
I can say that after doing 8 of these rides, touring through the alpine region in something to experience as often as possible, the roads & the brotherhood of bikers was fantastic and I can't wait to do it all again next year.  Half the fun is actually the ride to the Snowy's and back home.  If you are able to do this ride I thoroughly recommend it!  (ps I did manage to drop a couple of OzSTOC contact cards on a couple of interstate ST's in Thredbo....who knows, they may join us)

Hey A2Z, I just noticed the message in your signature. I hope you stopped waving to all the riders on the Snowy ride, otherwise you'd probably be having physio on your shoulder at best! Every now and then on the weekend, I'd catch myself doing it and have to force myself to remember not to, as I'd just about have to ride one handed.... Wot thuh
