I am busy catching up on things in between rides and going back to Victoria next week.  Would be a good ride.

A good idea  :thumbs  I plan on fitting in some day rides here and there, as haven't done many lately.  It would be good to do 200kms max for the day for a change.

I thought about doing your ride Chops but couldn't commit for a lot of reasons.

As things would have it, the wife went away this morning to have her hair done and stay with the daughter and grand kids for the night. I took the opportunity to get the ST out of the garage and headed off. At the end of the ride  it was about a 430km day, first decent ride out on the bike in over 2 months. Still wondering if I should sell it or persevere with it.

I only saw Chops' thread yesterday - if I saw it a week ago I probably would have met up with Chops at Yass. Sounded like a good ride.

JWM - IMHO keep the bike - it's a fine xample of a red STeed and Wyvern is interested in teaching young red steeds the advantages of dragonhood. I think the market will again highly value the ST1300.
That ride last year, John, was a ripper - we should organise another. I'd b really interested in riding some of the other non-main roads of the area and thereabouts.
