High probability of going to this, am happy to make it an overnighter, if so maybe dinner? Can do this date but prefer not to ride during school holidays.

.... but prefer not to ride during school holidays.

Good point.

(The VIC RTE at Cape Patterson is on Sun 29 Jan, technically school holidays.  But not for others (like Helen) who return to school on Fri 27 Jan.  Won't be too much traffic on 29 Jan.)

Wow frankly I think the response by the New South Welshmen is absolutely amazing, I’m not sure if Jerilderie is going to be able to cope with these numbers!

So a quick ride report:

Approx. 780kms each way to jerilderie.. with a quick run up to Yanco and back on the Saturday morning ..

Took Cobb highway up to hay across to balranald as the road across from pine tree to kyalite across to moulamein is destroyed and slowed me down on the way there.

At hay I found road to Ivanhoe is closed  due to flood damage so It was a bit longer to come home.

Stopped at balranald for a stretch.. if you haven’t done so before… check out the museum which holds a full size replica of the southern cross airplane and also a full size replica of the lady southern cross!!!!

Food at the colony inn in jerilderie was excellent… the burger was more than a mouthful for me!

Lots of patchy roads.. you can see where the edges got way too soft in the floods and rain!

All in all a great trip .. thanks for organising growly!

Hi, troops, great day was had. Ride from Rushworth thru Echuca Deni along the Conargo Rd to Jerilderie about 230 ks.
Mid to late 20s great riding weather. Quiet, RTE but had some good laughs and the food was terrific.
Used the same route home very light traffic better than the highway. Back in Rushworth and home Sunday.
