It would appear that both Stinky Pete and I undertook penance for our misdemeanor on Saturday. As Pete drove the ute, his penance was larger (250km ridden today) whereas my penance was a little less (150km through the Fleurieu culminating in a magnificent schnitty at the Greenman Inn, Ashbourne).

I genuinely hope the more virtuous of the Sevenhill RTE posse had a better day than us today  :butt  :p

I had to go into the office today, first time in weeks.

I had intended to ride, it being a little bit better conditions than Saturday, but needed to take the car after considering needs.

At least I know the value of my day's effort, unlike those hoping for a good day with super returns for their living pension  :Stirpot

You make a valid point there Michael - at least with the ST and a sunny day, an old retiree can have a fairly cheap time and a lot of fun. Interestingly, I have an acquaintance who is making between 15% and 25% on investments, 3 monthly, going into and out of the share market during these unsettling times. Good for those in the know I suppose (and no doubt I don't hear about the stunning losses). I'm not a gambler so I leave the management of my very modest super to the experts (which in itself is a gamble).  >:()

Members from NSW, Vic and ACT are also welcome. After they've done their two week quarantine. :grin

We from WA can go any where we like, but we have to go in to lockdown for 14 days when we cross the border coming back...

Yes Brock, it is a pity your Premier can't recognize that SA's Covid 19 situation is as good as or better than the WA situation. I'd hope his decision making is based on the science and not politics, although in my opinion the science suggests there is no valid reason for keeping the border closed with SA, given our current restrictions on people movement into SA from Vic & NSW.

His decision seems to be at the moment, that its all or none.

There are probably a few roads that can be used to bypass checks, but you would need a well prepared 4x4 to do it.

South Australia is similar.  We can go to NSW or Victoria but have the do the 14 day quarantine when we come back.  Victoria, who'd want to go there?   :Stirpot

I may be in the car this weekend.  Had a major service a few weeks back And now I have more oil on the outside of the engine than the inside.   Not sure if it’s connected.   Bike is back getting looked at.
