This our route, only 238 kms, sometimes it seems longer.

From the Adelaide CBD there's a few options.

http://goo.gl/maps/m5fyU 320kms When lived south of the city at Reynella East we went this way, a bit longer but avoids all that traffic up to Gawler.

Palmer to Overland Corner = 188kms via Cambrai, Sedan, Blanchetown on to Barmera and Overland Corner, leaving around 9.30am to allow plenty time, hope the weather plays its part

Hi Don, would be great to travel as a group . What time do propose getting underway? I have a mate coming for the ride (talked him around to it today) he rides a BMW but we can't hold that against him. He is coming down from the Yorke peninsula so could join in anywhere along the way.

Overland Corner Run
How about a 9.15am meet at Caltex Bolivar. With a 9.45am departure out to Kapunda, Eudunda or Morgan for a coffee and onto Overland Corner for lunch. Returning via Waikerie, Nuriootpa, Gawler and home. If the guys down south want they can come home via Loxton, Karoonda, Murray Bridge and so on. Just a suggestion does that work for you Pete & Richo.

It's about 70k or about 45 minutes at most (google maps) from Morgan to the hotel.

We should be leaving home at around 9am and we usually make Burra and Morgan drink stops when we run over to see Dad anyway so we'll aim for 11:00 - 11:15 at Morgan and if all goes well we'll see you at Morgan about that time.

Hi Richo, it’s just over a 2 hour run to Morgan, if Dons happy with that I was thinking about leaving at 8.45am, still meeting at Caltex Bolivar between 8.15 to 8.45am then meeting Alan & Heather in Morgan at approx. 11.00

We've modified our Saturday plan slightly.

Dad isn't able to make it on the Saturday but Sunday is ok if we can spend the night. So, we're camping the night at Lake Bonney and Dad will come over to our camp site in the morning.

I'll confirm later today but our local rail museum is supposedly having an open day on the 1st December ($2 admission). Something to consider if you have nothing else that day or weekend.

I am over on the Eyre Peninsular working and while i was going to be home for this now i have to stay here and work. Looks like a great turnout and its just around the corner for me....Not happy jan!
