must have aquaplaned .... the road was basically straight.

Also did you see how well the chin strap worked?  It nearly came off at one point and the only thing holding it in place for protection was the strap.

a demonstration as to the importance of a correctly fitting helmet.

I wonder if she'll be in a rush to pillion again?

They both came out pretty much unscathed . . I wonder how the bike fared . . And they were lucky no oncoming traffic.  Where was it Europe or America?

Been there, done it just like that; following Saaz on the Pacific Highway, at night, in the rain, 10 kph under the speed limit, May 2014; bike written-off, me unhurt.  :runyay

A diesel spill achieved what two previous roo-impacts couldn't.  :||||

Scary! Just shows how little stability we really have when we're riding down the road.  A little change in conditions and we're doing it without wheels.     :eek
