I might slip across and say hello either Saturday or Sunday.  I wont stay as I'm only about 90 k's down the road from Hill End.  I thought if it's good enough for a Trumpet or 2 than I wont feel so bad turning up on a V-strom!  :grin

And it just so happens that there was an article in the Canberra times about a photo collection, with a few from Hill End reproduced including where they were taken.  So a walk around town to see what it is like now seems a plan.  I will leave the article at the B&B if they want it.

But the seed I believe was planted and had considerable West Wylong fertiliser heaped upon it.....

Many thanks to all that attended.

Well, this was "Natman"s first outing (RTE with sleepover) with the Ozstoc family and it will be one that he wont forget in a hurry.  He nearly dropped the 1300, did a lap of Bathurst, saw Sofala & Hill End, broke his bed, nearly flattened his bike battery and watch Mrs Packo nearly get taken by a bloody big eagle.

The big thing that come out of the weekend was "I want/need bloody heated grips".

Hopefully SAAZ and/or Tony (alias Russell) will post some photo's of the event, BUT PLEASE, don't pick on Saaz as he forgot the flag.

Thanks again, I had a great time.

Cheers
Dave

PS - I now know 2 Moderators and a possible "Mrs Pit STop" that love red wine, I here red wine makes the room spin??? :rofl :rofl :rofl

Well - Where to start. I think its a case of what happens at an RTE stays at the RTE  :whistle :grin
The trip from West Wyalong to Hill End started out sunny at 10 degrees and ended up overcast at 9 degrees  :eek The trip home today started at 10 degrees, dropped to 8 degrees before warming to 14 degrees near home. Jeanette and I did 715kms for the RTE. Before I left I tried my Sargent seat in a new position - Front at highest setting and back in 3rd position. It proved to be even more comfortable set up this way  :clap . The weekend was a ball and was fully supported by Pockey who brought her Bikee Bitch to look after us  :clap :grin

Diesel please rest assure that no straws were harmed during the filming of this RTE. (Saaz stop laughing)

As can been seen "the brains trust" was working well.

Sorry I missed you "Down Under" and Robert, may be next time.

We did come up with some other places to RTE etc, more to follow.

I did wait for you Ruben, but those school examines needed to be marked.  I think those students needed you more then us at a very important time in their education, so don't under estimate what you do.

There will be more RTE (with sleepovers) in the future.  Tony, Mrs Pit STop and I are working on one now for the whole family, (if it isn't blame Tony).

Cheers
Dave

So I'm the new pocket sized Portable club Mascot ?? Is that what your saying Mr. Russell ?? LOL  :Whipped

I see my Bikee Bitch has kept his BB status for more than just the weekend, or is this a long weekend so I can get some more mileage from his misery ?  :eek

Great photos guys.

Not every weekend a girl gets swept off her feet by a few ruggedly handsome gentlemen, but I use the term Gentlemen ingest of course.  :spank

Thanks again for the fun filled memories everyone !!!!

Pockey  :wink1

Once earned, its hard to remove, unless the one who did it relents. Or The recipient works out how to undo the mischief.

Thanks Saaz and Russell (oops Tony) for posting those photo's.

Diesel please rest assure that no straws were harmed during the filming of this RTE. (Saaz stop laughing)

As can been seen "the brains trust" was working well.

Note:- Jeanette (Mrs Spit STop") was having a power nap, she did not snore once  :rofl :rofl :rofl

Sorry I missed you "Down Under" and Robert, may be next time.

We did come up with some other places to RTE etc, more to follow.

Cheers
Dave

Sorry we missed you Dave.  We had to scoot as we didn't want to get caught out by the vast numbers of roos which begin to appear in the afternoon.  Glad the meeting was a success.

Cheers,

Tony
