I had arranged to purchase this off a club member a month ago but he was due to go away on holidays for 3 weeks the next day so in the meantime i sorta got distracted ?

Anyway, the name change back to the original came about because i lost my new shirt with new name on it and my new name tag care of the lovely people at Brisbane airport so it was just easier to go back to the old name seeing as i still had my old shirt.

If someone needs a bike to get to Tassie the  :gldst11 will be sitting around doin nuffin  :whistle

I am led to believe it took a short cut to try intercept easily, now stuck on Big Red in the Simpson desert ( not much of a short cut)

You never cease to amaze!  When you were in Mackay in the fourby I had you written off as a proper biker, and in a couple of days you have gone and done this!!    :crackup

That ST1100 acquisition puts you right up there with the hardestcore OzSTockers!!  :clap
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

I was in pain today during my first ride/50km run on the 1100 but i've decided it's time to get on with it while i can and enjoy a bit of riding. The clutch was very heavy to me and is something i'll have to look at. It is really is a lovely bike and a credit to Allan it's former owner and the previous custodians before him.

Very nice!

..... you could get one of those spring grip exercise things to strengthen the left hand.

Or repititive gripping of a schooner of beer.  May be sufficient, may not .......but a win either way.
