Got a couple of hours TOIL owed to me so I will be there at opening time of 10.00am Sunday then home to start work at 1800.

Looking for ear plugs with speakers, kevlar jeans and checking out new helmets.

Sorry Pezzz
I have only picked up the laptop now. Went yesterday around 2.00. Not a bad show but a little lacking on accessories and parts such as spark plugs etc. saw Charlie Boorman signing autographs with huge line of google eyed fans. Good to see all the comparable bikes together. The CTX looks ugly. Met a 1300 rider and gave him a card. So if you are reading this Patrick come and join in.

It was probably your bike I spotted down there Wombat, 60k on the clock? :)

I agree with you there, the show should have had more accessories up for grabs.  I did like those ear plug speakers though.

I got what I went for.

Found a pair of jeans wth full removable kevlar pants that is normally held in by zips. Just about to walk out and the bloke said, What other pair do you want?

Apparently you also get a 2nd pair of jeans free. I was happy.

Sat in a chair at the earplug store and had both ears filled with plastic, one red and the other yellow (lemon) with speakers. R (red) for right and L (lemon) for left.

Cost a bit more than I wanted to pay as the price for the plugs without the speakers cost $85 then a jump up to $250 with a set of speakers. They wouldn't let me use my $20 speakers.

Still it was $70 cheaper than Phillip Island a couple of years ago.

I feel it was money well spent as when I last crossed the Nullabor, I reached Eucla and was totally deaf caused by the strong head winds.

Good day out and was just as entertaining in the car park looking at all the different sorts of bikes around these days.
