New Members on OzSTOC....

This is an across the board reminder to everyone, and not pointed at anyone in particular.

When someone new joins the club, they are learning about us, so if they post somewhere and they have not introduced themselves, that is not their fault, it is up to us to nicely give them some guidance, we have had a few instances in the last couple of months where we have jumped on people because they have posted something and not quite the right way, or acted different to how we like it.

Just remember at some point you where all new here to, its like starting a new job, someone has to show you around  :thumb

On this note, a reminder for visitors and seasoned members.

What may seem to be friendly post to the member, may come across as a bit sharp/rude as the intended tone of the post cant be heard. Use smileys to take the bight out a bit, or write an expanded post, that come across as a bit softer and more informative.

OR ELSE...

Just kidding

Since you appeared from nowhere in time for a party, you might like to introduce yourself, your bike, your location and the other normal things when joining a Forum...       :popcorn

Maaate.  If you think that's jumping on a Newbie, you ought to mix it with some of the less sympathetic Fora.

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
