Gatton struck by storm...again
« on: January 07, 2014, 06:12:38 PM »
Just watched the news which showed the garage in Gatton that we went to after both the first and the second floods. We went for a ride ...twice...to take in fuel to try to keep the garage in business after the last two years floods, now the thing has been blown over in a GALE!

What is this place coming to??????????

I think the "news" called it Gatton, but that was the Grantham servo that we filled up at.
That was the face of a real battler!
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

OK, so when can you bikies organize another ride out there, I have no doubt that that really would ease the mind level of these poor people. Sorry but it gets a bit hard to organize a ride when I don't have a bike any more and I'm not allowed to either ride or drive (till 2nd April...12 months on from the operation!!)
