Hi All
« on: May 21, 2024, 05:48:01 PM »
As a new member I like to give you a run down on myself I guess. Been riding for over 50 years. Had more bikes than years ridden. First ST I purchased in Toowoomba new in 2004. $24500.00 I think it was. Good bike but as an only bike I wanted something else. Anyway bought my current one from Rocky which had been sitting for 9 years, 36k on it. It has come with the usual problems associated with bikes that sit. Brakes, fuel pump and filter etc. rode very well for a short time now has a few issues which I will search within the forum.
Current bikes
2004 ST
2016 GSA BMW
2016 HD Road King
2009 Yamaha MT01
1980 Yamaha XS1100
1980 Yamaha XS850(in bits)
1984 Honda VF1000 x 2. One which needs work the other a parts bike.
I look forward to reading of other members bikes, issues and adventures.
I have restored a RGS Laverda and a couple of Ducati Darmahs.
Owned a couple of V11 Guzzis as well.
Yes I’m a self Harmer 😂😂

I’ve got to get it back on the road yet. Dreaded rear brake issue and code 26 . Frustrating. Was going very well.

I have turned up in the cage quite a few times if my wife Robyn tags along
It’s still good to catch up with everyone
Unfortunately I won’t make this RTE  >:()
But plan to make the next at Woodford

Welcome from another Brisbane dude.  We haven’t been to many RTEs recently due to health issues, but hope to catch up sometime.

Absolutely any mode of transport to an RTE is acceptable, but a GTI is more than welcome  WOW:
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.
