Michelin PR2s and dynabeads

Saturday or Sunday I will be fitting up some Michelin PR2s in 110/80-18 front (standard ST11 size) and 170/70-17 rear (ST13 size) sizes. Also will be fitting some dynabeads for the first time, so interesting to see how they will go.  Snowy Ride and Grey Gum cafe ride should give an idea on how they will go.  Will they last until the National meet in Middleton??

Probably right!  Unfortunately without a control experiment with the same tyres, same conditions and same bike and rider no way to tell what the difference will be. Different tyres and balancing method. Went for a scrub in ride today, feel great as new tyres always do. Seem to ride a bit softer on the road. As for the balance, well who knows as they did not wobble about.

Saaz, I fitted my p3 and dyna beads on the weekend and did a 900 k ride yesterday from melb to falls creek via witfield wit and back with a lot of twisties. They worked great no vibration ,hung on well. Good ride to scrub in tyres. At them moment I like them .

I have now done a few thousand kms.  Tyres just work without having to thin about them, perhaps the best I have used yet performance wise in all conditions. Tyre life and performance over that life yet to be determined.

  I had cool weather, pouring rain, damp to drying roads.  And some of the roads so so many corners one after the other that there was no time to even think 'are these tyres ok?  I will do a ride report of sorts when I sort the photos. Needless to say that the '65kms of twisty road' sign on the Bonang Highway is true - most length of road I just had to continuously brake and accelerate while leaning the bike over one side to the other and having to concentrate the whole time.  I felt like I had just got back from the Border Run as both hands sore and feeling it.

That Bonang Highway sounds like an insane road

Used beads in my last set by the time I changed the rear 16,500 the beads were all but dust thought I felt a change in the handling and put it down to the tyres, not sure of the longevity of them....wont use again not up here anyway the heat may be the issue.

They are used to balance the wheel in theory.

I'm still seeing what difference in kms I get.
