New OzSTOC Forum game
« on: November 29, 2015, 01:16:26 PM »
I don't know about you but in the last few years the world has gone mad on Acronym's or Initialism's if you prefer......particularly 3 letter Acronym's

We at OzSTOC even contribute to the shortcut society  :wink1

So here is the game.....I will post an initial known and accepted TLA (Three Letter Acronym) see its started already  :nahnah and the first person to guess it correctly and have it confirmed by the original poster gets to post their own TLA for us to guess.

It could be an organization like NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) it could be but not limited to Military, Medical or Automotive the list goes on.......but it must be an ACCEPTED acronym  :-((( Lets see what we can learn  :wink1

(If the original poster doesn't respond in a reasonable period of time one of the Mods will adjudicate  :wink1)

I'd have to look for the meanings of these as I rarely use them. Took me six months to work out what IMHO was.

Except that's an FLA  (Four Letter Acronym)   :p

And we have a WINNER !!

The WDH (Weight Distribution Hitch) has been around in the Caravan and Heavy trailer industry for many years, it's to counteract the downward weight of the trailer on the tow vehicle and re-correct the adverse affects on steering, braking and headlights etc.....many vehicles will now use Airbag suspension that is adjustable to correct ride height.

Well done Pete, it's all yours  ;-*
