If the Qld gummint did something a bit like rationalising the administration rather than attempting to make the unemployment figures look good by ballooning the Public Service, then we could make some headway with the economy.
The irony is, when govts do it, they give huge redundancies then rehire everyone on contracts.

I think it's a very good thing for motorcyclists to belong to. $65 pa buys you insurance against the high costs that follow a debilitating spinal injury. Even if you never use it (and you'd hope not to, like any insurance), it's a worthy cause in that it supports those who do need it.
