forgot to ask on last post. Switch 6 on my ST does not click in but is just a push to activate button. Is this correct?

Switch 6 is broken then, its supposed to latch. Its purpose I think was to dim the pole strobe.

Just had a look at Brock's simplified version......."simplified version" ya gotta be kidding.......and what's more, he drew it......that makes me sick!
We really do have some very talented people in our club, don't we! Just look at me, I can errr...... :think1
-
Winston66 not sure if it makes a difference but both those guys have 1100s so maybe different for your 1300. Just a thought and probably wrong.

Pezz,
should be basically the same, as they control the same gear. Havent seen a circuit for the 1300, and havent had a bike to check

Identical Police Switch

There we go. Thought I would be wrong but thought it was worth pointing out just in case.

I am 99.9% certain the wiring looms for 1100 and 1300 are identical.

Brock,
Do you still have this drawing and could put it up again somewhere?
Thanks
-
I will put a new link in a bit later. Dropbox changed the way they did things.

Hi Brock,
I'm restoring a New South Wales Police Honda ST1100PY and am currently in the process of installing the emergency lights and siren.
I understand from various sources that Hazard Systems strobe and siren controllers were used to equip these bikes for the Sydney Olympics, which doesn't present a problem as I have all the gear needed to make that happen, however, I noticed in your "simplified" diagramme that there are two relays, one each for siren and emergency lights. Do you know if these were Honda supplied, and if so, do you know if they were used by NSWPOL, and one more if so, if they were used by NSWPOL any idea where I can find the part numbers?

The relays, are in the cluster of relays in the nose of the bike. Standard fit for the bike.
P.S.
I have sent an email with the ST1100 police supplement, and wiring diagram

Diagram is a great help
