Title: Why a fuse box instead of a bus bar?
Post by: Diesel on September 28, 2012, 03:22:30 PM
Why not use a bus bar like this one...

... instead of a fuse block - particularly if all the circuits coming off it are correctly fused/wired?

Cheers, Diesel

The fuse block, is basically a Busbar with fuses/ fuse sockets already attached. This makes it easy to just connect a wire going to the device to be powered. Most inline fuses are pretty cumbersome, and adding them to the wiring makes for an untidy job.
