Title: Battery query

Hi all,

My battery is fully charged according to the CTEK charger, however when I goto start the bike I'm getting a flat battery sound clicking rapidly coming from the battery itself when I put my ear to it. When I turn the ignition on the volt meter on the bike barely goes off red. That battery is about 13mths old.

Should I just replace the battery straight up even though the CTEK says it's charged up?

Check the battery voltage on crank, it should be above 10 volts. A fully charged battery may have no capacity.. IE, looks charged until you try to use it..

Replace the battery..
