That's certainly a thoughtful application of the camera and computer technology.  Its incorporation in an adaptive cruise control would be great.  I'd like it to warn of potential rear-ender collisions also since we're all a bit limited in our rear awareness.  I don't always remember to monitor the car closing in from behind at traffic lights.
