He will need a couple of beers to dampen out the sensation of movement.

Lionel did appreciate the Peterborough Cheer Squad.  Here's his comment on FarRiders:

"Thanks for the great support guys.
I even had a couple of well wishes from the OzSTOC forum waiting in the cold 8 degrees at night in Peterborough cheering me on; although I didn't know who they were at the time or I would have stopped.
I was after a SS5000K in under 72 hours."
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Thanks Biggles,

Heather will be pleased.......We didn't expect him to stop though we did see his brake lights come on a couple times as he went down the main street.

Thanks TJ

And with sunny days since then, that 8C temp we had the other night doesn't seem to have got any higher either.

Will keep a watch for it , but Monday is out, as I am replacing the timing belt on the 1100

If we're not home before Monday there's something dodgy about TJ's gpx file!
