2017 - National Rally awards
« on: October 24, 2017, 06:11:10 AM »
The MOTY (Member Of The Year) is nominated by the Clubs Admin & Forum Moderation team who monitor all members contributions to the group since the previous years rally.

A vote is then taken by this same group with the National Rally coordinator to give 5 votes.

The nominees this year for all manner of reasons were:

Yorkie, Biggles, Wildrose, Gadget, Kev Murphy and PC & Navgirl

And the Winner.........

PC and Navgirl20 were this years winner for their contribution to the club. They are the keepers of the OzSToc shop who even though semi retired and travelling, they travel with ALL of the Clubs Shop bulky supplies including multiple shirts in every size in their caravan and promptly post or even hand deliver your supplies....they also attempt to get to every RTE on the east coast.

Worthy choices.  Pete and Marian are excellent ambassadors for OZSTOC with their willingness to organise and participate.
Rob deserved his win for his demonstration that the ST is one of the leading long-distance bikes.
Long may they reign (all of them, people and bikes).
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Is that the same as "OzSTOC Bike of the year" that Sicman was judging?

Thank you everyone for your congratulatory messages.  :like
We are very honored to be awarded the MOTY.  :-++
We get a great deal of pleasure getting to know people through the shop and then being able to catch up with them at events. :beer
From the 'blue caps' side of things it gives us nothing but great pleasure when we see attendees laughing, joking and enjoying themselves at these events.  It's the members that make the events because rest assured if you did not attend it would be bat shit boring for the blue hats sitting around by themselves looking at each other.
