The sky was overcast and looking like it had every intention to shower upon us throughout the day, as we made our way to Tipsy's Victoria Point address. I suspected we would possibly be washed out, but hoped for the best. What eventuated was a day which remained over-cast the whole time we were there and the temperature was near perfect for an outdoor event.
When we arrived a few people had already gathered and there was a collection of three blue bikes and one grey ghost. Straight away I thought I must have been at a Bluesfest. I soon had the flag hung up.

The plentful and beautiful food was already on the table and our hosts were glad to see us and very welcoming. The fridge was conveniently located to put the drinks in.
The jocularity had already commenced and soon we were joining in around the table, eating, chatting, laughing, checking our phones. :grin

A little later Biggles arrived, after having worked this morning, so Ruby looked a little out of place.
It was good to see saaz and jglan there to help us celebrate.

Unfortunately not enough pressure was applied to the shutter button (6 times) by SWMBO, so I'll have to rely on the photos that were taken by others.
After a very good time, and a brief showing off of the transformer car, it was time to bid everyone farewell and make our way towards home....... or so I thought.
We left before Biggles but, being in the car we were caught by traffic and it wasn't long before Biggles was on our tail and passing us on the way home. He waved and we enthusiastically waved back.
Tipsy had his meal prepared and set out in some kitchenware which was a small portable bain marie for the meat and portable ice powered chillers for the cheese, tomato, beetroot and eggs and ice powered chillers for the salads. So........ we had to visit the K-Mart at Kippa-Ring on the way home to see if we could get the condiment one for our outdoor entertaining area. After wandering around for a while, we stopped a young male staff member and asked if he knew where we could find the bain marie and ice chillers. In teh middle of asking, he received a phone call and my wife insisted he answer the call. Strangely enough, he was being asked about the availability of bain maries...... A delightful young lady knew what we were talking about, and took us straight to it. There were no Bain Maries at the place in the store we were shown (bottom shelf) but the Condiment Chiller was. I wonder if Biggles or Carol was on the other end of the phone?
Anyway,
We both wish everyone from OzSTOC a very wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year and look forward to catching up at an RTE in the near future.
