Doh. This clashes with Dezohn's work getaway on the Sunshine Coast for Friday and Saturday nights. I'll have to see if we can make a dash away Sat Morning to Woodford.Dezohn's work getaway weekend was moved forward to the 13th/14th Nov so we should be able to make this one in the new car. :runyay
Should be OK for this one............ Just got to make sure I have a full tank.....Better pack some emergency supplies as well. Could be a long day. :grin
I'm in. Is there any preferred route there? I'm coming from Acacia Ridge and don't want to just sit on the gateway all the way to caboolture.
Sorry I won't be able to make as I am doing a ride with work mates to Tamworth that weekend :fp
But have a good ride :hatwave
Cool, Google says 101 km & 1hr 45 min. Perfect length.I'm in. Is there any preferred route there? I'm coming from Acacia Ridge and don't want to just sit on the gateway all the way to caboolture.
I believe one of the most popular ways would be out through Dayboro and over Mount Mee :runyay
sorry wont be able to make this one, just had a full knee replacement.have a great day.cheers

Shiney, your welcome. Do you want to drop her off here on the way up?
Hit 39c on the way home today (4pm in locker Valley) and it was ok on the ST. It is fairly dry air so as long as you keep moving you are fine :-)A mesh jacket on days like that helps with keeping cool.

Had a nice easy drive in thick traffic after a delayed start.
Got to Woodford at 11:40 an and found a sizeable gathering of the usual friendly faces and a few new ones.
Thanks to everyone who expressed obvious pleasure at seeing me in one piece. I was glad I could make it.
It was good to see Gnome made it despite a forced detour.
Crocman's indicator Farkles are super impressive. If I still had my bike I'd certainly be having them. (and I thought I had no more to do)
I was also surprised how pleased I was to see my old top box still trundling around atop Shiney's bike. :grin
The group was larger than I expected and unfortunately I didn't get to see everyone. My apologies.
Again Sabie had to endure a tiresomely long ride to get there but I think PC and Marion, and tding may have slightly beaten him for longest ride to the RTE.
So to all who braved the great heat today and turned up and made it another successful RTE, thank you very much.
I had a great time and even didn't find the heat to be that bad :grin
Thanks to everyone that was able to make it :hatwave
Here's a little video of the day :thumbs
