Breakfast - if you wish, there are several little cafe's around the area. Or a short ride to "Anchors Wharf Cafe".

The camp kitchen is very impressive also.

I just called the van park and they advised me it was a minimum two night stay if I wanted to book a cabin?

I have since booked two double rooms in the pub across the road. There is still plenty of accommodation available at the Ocean view Hotel. :thumbsup

Oh darn, if I was to come, I was just going to book a cabin for the Saturday night, but if you need to book two nights, that might be a bit of a spanner.

I will have a look at alternatives and hopefully i can subsequently confirm.

Well I just rang the caravan park and they informed me that "you can book cabin for one night during the week" so Friday/Saturday night or Saturday/Sunday night if you want to book a cabin (so two night minimum)

I'm staying the weekend with the family, so I booked a cabin.

Camping powered or not, can be for one night.

I've stayed at the pub in the recent past and it's a great place. Great bed and great food.

The publican has a garage that may be available (used it before) you need to ask.

Shaun, the Ocean view hotel across teh road from the caravan park still has plenty of rooms available for the one night.

I used to own a boat like this but the weather and the price of fuel were against me for a year. Sold it and bought motorbikes...

I stayed at urunga yet again on the way to Toowoomba it is one of my favourite places as the boardwalk is great and the balcony of the pub a good place to relax

We have a cabin booked, so will just have to do anchorswharf breakfast unfortunately ;-* lunch is very good there too, having had to stop a few times for a little break. The breakfast at the pub is quite good, included in the tariff.

Have you booked your accomodation ??

Caravan park has a minimum 2 night booking over weekend, But the Oceanview Hotel across the road has rooms with some lockup garages at rear.

Waterfall Way, Oxley Hwy, Orara Valley way and Gwydir Hwy are all brilliant rides to this RTE location :like

Jackie and I will be there for sure, we have booked into accommodation for the week, any excuse for a break, just not sure if we will be on two wheels or four because of a sore heal which is going to take some time to heal by the look of it, sore back or arm is one thing when its your foot short of walking on your arms which makes the blood rush to your head, you are stuffed, see you there, Don and Jackie

Hey guys.
I am out of this one, I have the joy of painting a house we are selling instead.
Is there anyone going from canberra or surrounds who can take my small red trailer with them so Diesel can have it for the next rte to g,bone. I think he is busting to get it and try out trailer camping.
Plus his top box has been christened with rum now and he needs a better way to transport his rum.

G'day Nev, great you both can make it....we haven't realy decided on a solid plan yet :think1 we were planning to leave Friday and go the long way down ;-* and stay the night somewhere.

Pockey has a favourite place to stay near Newcastle that serves a Tolberone cocktail that she has a thing for.....so I guess thats where we may end up :rofl

No reverse cycle air-conditioning, so I'll have to make sure I have extra layers to keep warm. Might pack my electric throw. :grin

We are coming from further North and via Uki. We plan on cruising too so by my estimation we shouldn't be too far apart by Kyogle. As you head south, the Kyogle Bakery is on the right near the bend in the Main Street

First ones there gives a call to see where the others are

Lionel and myself are also in the caravan park, cabin 10. We seek to have a bike trailer, so it is going up for sale on the highway tomorrow morning 😇 how much should we ask for? It has shrunk a bit in the rain so is probably worth less now, perhaps start price $100?

Rained all the way here, I may ask for a government grant to ride through drought affected areas as I seem to attract rain on all my recent rides...

Well I finally got home At 4pm TODAY,
something to do hangen tail on rough corners with NOT enough AIR thru to Kyogle
Got pumped and wore off some more going thru to Lawrence so much so it was with much thought (na not really)3 trepid
fellas Diesel in front and PC as backend-Charlie took of for Coffs then Urunga to eye on what was left of rear rubber
much to my great admiration for their help., Mean while back in the land of movers & shakers ST2up was organising a tyre,
Booked in at the pub and I paid 50 must have been for the front room had a bloody good feed with the bestest friends but some
of them missing that a person could have.
And you couldnt beat the Breakfast either. well after photos (I didnt take any) we all said our good buys and everyone heading of in to the
morning. and I being dropped back off at the Hotel until Monday to head of to the bike shop in at Coffs.
So all being good and done thanks to help again from the best family in the world I am able to put this down here for others to peruse at there leisure.

I arrived back at 4.30pm today. Relaxing trip back as Lionel and myself stopped at Denman on the way back. Sure a bit cooler here than Urunga!

Once I get the plan sorted for Eungella this coming weekend I will post up some photos and stuff.

Marion & I stayed another night to catch up with long time friends visiting Urunga.
Turned over 100,000 kms on way to Urunga.
A good day & night which topped off a fabulous OZSTOC weekend!!

Great photo's and thanks for sharing them. It was another great Ozstoc weekend and it's always good to catch up with old friends as well as meet a few new ones. After a great breaky with the group on Sunday morning Paul and I rode up Waterfall Way with Saaz then bid him farewell as he headed south while Paul and I headed north to Grafton via Nymboida. After a quick lunch and fuel stop we headed up the lovely Gwyder Hwy to Glen Innes and then up the New England to Tenterfield for the night.

Monday morning was a brisk 7 degrees but quickly warmed up for a most enjoyable ride down the range on the Bruxner Hwy and home via Bonalbo and Old Bonalbo to Woodenbong and home. All up we did a little over 1100k's and had a ball. Well done to all those who organised another great weekend away :thumbs

Couldn't agree with you more Chris! The Oxley, Gwydir and Bruxner hwys are all great roads. Though the southern highlands roads in the Snowy Mountains are my personal favourites in NSW. :)
