I will put it on my ride list to see if I can make it. And unless it changes, Penrose Park accepts cash only and pub gets sick of cashouts (but can be done if you spend money there later on)

Could be part of keeping on going somewhere else...

Well, I've just paid my rego

for the next 12 months and need to do more kms to reduce the $rego/km, so this sounds just the thing. Count me in, i'm planning on going.

I've just contacted the Penrose Park management.

The Silver City website hasn't been updated for awhile so I'd be ringing for correct prices.

No need to book for a basic camping site though might be best if you need power. $10 per adult per night. Also EFTPOS is still a no go and CASH (except Hotel) is needed.

Some cabins were $70 and others up to a $100 per night and best to book and confirm pricing when doing so on 08 80885307

I have also emailed the hotel for their recently opened accommodation pricing and 08 80885313 is their number.

Hi Alan

We at this stage have rooms available for October 17th

The rates are $120.00 per double and $25.00 per extra person (I can do a group booking at a better rate)

Each room has a Queen bed.2 singles and a trundle

OK, have booked both Stinkypete, pPopeye and myself into the Pub for the night, one room 3 beds, plus a rollout, if required. Rooms look nice and modern....see you there..

Sorry fellows, going to have to miss this for the second time.

Would of loved to visit Silverton again, i haven't been there in over 20 years.

We will be in Phillip Island that weekend.

Hope you all have a enjoyable time & look forward to the reports.
