Situated on top of imposing red cliffs an easy 90 minute drive from Adelaide, Ardrossan is a thriving seaport and center for agriculture.  Spectacular scenery from a cliff top lookout, an abundance of blue swimmer crabs, great fishing, shipwrecks and an interesting history make this a great spot to while away relaxing days.

Yes, and hence the ??? next to my name.    If I get the bike back from the repairer in time, I'll be heading to Canberra.   If not, we'll drive to Ardrossan in the ute, and we will all drink a toast to Saaz.

See you at the Royal House Hotel at 12.30 Saturday.     We may or may not be on the bike, which is due to be completed and available late Friday afternoon.
We can all drink a toast to our friend Saaz.

Sorry for the late notice but I will not be able to attend this ride.  My father is in the RAH.  He has had a very nasty (and rather big) skin cancer removed from behind his ear which has resulted in very large grafts.

      Ardrossan RTE Cancelled

Thanks for letting me know Richo, and I hope your Dad gets on OK.    Alans1100 and WildfireAngel have also pulled out for a couple of reasons, so the Adrrossan RTE is cancelled.

Pity the ride is now cancelled.  As I have to stay " local"  over the weekend I would be happy to meet somewhere closer to raise a glass in memory of Saaz.
