I would have stayed home, but then I guess the Poms would stay home if the temperature gets over 37C.   We each learn how to deal with our own riding conditions.

I have been caught out in a bad hail storm on the ST1100, had to stop as the road was covered in hail, and it hurt even through a winter armoured jacket. Concentrates the mind riding in the wheel tracks with hail on the road, and cars spun off the road.
