Yes it's a long way off, and everyone from everywhere who wants to make the trip to Tenterfield is welcome to come along and enjoy another weekend of Ozstoc fun. So pencil it in your diaries now
For any SE Qld riders that would like to ride down together I'll be leading a group from Brisbane down through the scenic border ranges via Woodenbong, Bonalbo, Old Bonalbo and Tabulam, then head up the fabulous Bruxner hwy to Tenterfield.
We'll be staying overnight at the Royal Hotel in Tenterfield. Standard Hotel rooms with shared facilities are available inside the pub starting from $25 per person, and motel style rooms are available out the back from $60 per dbl. Good hearty meals are available at the pub at normal pub prices, and there is a dining room we can have for the night.

The route home on the Sunday for any of teh SE QLD riders will be "optional" depending on how adventurous you're feeling
Some of us are keen to ride the Mt Lindsay Road all the way back back to Woodenbong. Yes, its rough in places but the scenery makes the effort worthwhile in my opinion.
There will be the option of riding just the first (easiest and mostly sealed) part of the Mt Lindsay Road to take in the rocky outcrops at "Thunderbolts hideout", and also enjoy a coffee stop at the "Lavender farm". The lavender farm is a great little cafe in the middle of no where! (This route does include one section of dirt road that's about 10k's long).
After the Lavender farm riders will have the option of scooting across to Stanthorpe (20k's) and pick up the Hwy for home, or continue along the Mt Lindsay hwy to Woodenbong.
Those who make the journey from down south or those that prefer to stay "only on the black stuff" can ride home anyway that suits their needs
