Well, what a great day, if I must say so myself.
After Barry and Laurie arrived on bikes they were shortly followed by STraya & Biggles, also on bikes, and not too long after that Gaz arrived bearing bags of peanuts, which went down well.
As usual there was a good deal of catching up, bike talk and general shenanigans.
Before I knew it I was being told to fire up the BBQ, and we collectively cooked up a feast.
Suddenly it was much quieter as everyone
and then the conversation swelled again as the repaste was heartily consumed.
It was extra special for me to have everyone turn up today because just after I volunteered to host the RTE @ VNW Resort, I for a call to say another friend Maree from the Social Club riding group had passed away this morning after a long battle with Breast Cancer. Maree lost her partner Dave the weekend of the 27th Sep 2015.
So to all who turned up, those who called for a quick chat and to wish everyone a Merry Christmas thank you very much. You helped me immensely with my day.
I was pleased to play host and was rewarded with the usual great company. I love sharing my special piece of paradise with my OzSTOC friends.
I'm sorry to say I got to busy to take photos.
