Driving lights wiring - Pros and cons for different wiring setup

I'm about to fit driving lights, and was trying to work out the best method to wire them up. At this stage I've been considering these options...
* Wire them straight from the battery with their own separate switch
* Wire them from the battery but use the high beam switch
* Use a piggyback setup from the main headlight globes.
What do you lot see as the pros and cons for these options?

The only legal way is to use a piggy back {on the headlight to pick up hi beam} to a switch and relay. Driving lights must be able to be turned off, and only work with hi beam. Power can come from the battery, via a suitable fuse near the battery.

Thanks guys.
I picked up the lights today and they come with all of the cabling, harnesses, relay, piggybacks, etc so now it's just a matter of fitting it all. Although the lights were designed with cars/4wd's in mind so the cables are extra long!!
